If you’re tired of scrolling through endless feeds and want to take a break from social media, deactivating your Instagram account may be the solution for you. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Open the Instagram app and log in to your account Step 2: Tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner of the screen Step 3: Tap on the three lines in the top right corner and select Settings Step 4: Scroll down to Account, and then tap on Deactivate Your Account Step 5: Read the information on the next page, and then select a reason why you want to deactivate your account. Step 6: Re-enter your password, and then select Deactivate.
Note: When you deactivate your account, your profile, photos, comments, likes and followers will be hidden from the public, but will be saved by Instagram in case you want to reactivate in the future. To reactivate your account, simply log in to your account with your username and password.
