When you press the accelerator pedal, the electric motor provides power to the wheels. The electric motor is connected to the wheels through a gearbox and a drive shaft, and it’s controlled by an electronic control unit that manages power flow, speed, and torque.

Since electric cars don’t have an internal combustion engine, they’re much quieter and smoother to drive. They also have much quicker acceleration, as the electric motor can provide maximum torque from a standstill, which means that the vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in just a few seconds.

On average, EVs can travel up to three times further on the same amount of energy compared to traditional vehicles.

Another advantage of electric cars is that they’re much simpler to maintain, as they don’t have the same number of moving parts as traditional vehicles. They’re also more reliable, as the electric motor has fewer parts that can fail, and the battery pack is designed to last for several years.
